What You Will Need

Having the right gear makes any trip more enjoyable. Prepare for it to be cold. We recommend a down jacket or parka. Dressing in layers is always a good idea. Long underwear is a must. A good boot is most important along with a pair of wool socks. We have a fish shack and heater but it is best to use it as a place to warm up not to stay. Goggles are nice for the way out but sun glasses will due. A neck warmer or face mask will make the ride out more pleasant. Glove or mittens are needed but prepare to take them off when catching a fish. A fishing license and trout stamp are required for anyone over sixteen that is fishing(a day license includes a trout stamp). Once you have reserved a trip we will send you a check list and more information to help you prepare.

What We Will Provide

If you have a lucky fishing pole or any other gear you are welcome to bring it. Keep in mind we have to pack efficiently. We have all the gear to fish which you are encouraged to use. Each person can have two lines in the winter. We will have a jigging pole and tip-up or two tip-ups if you prefer. We will bring lunch and hopefully have some fresh lake trout to go with it.
